So this show seems to be about how women are wet blankets and won’t believe men who are awesome.
Or at least men as fine looking as David Duchovny.
I like how we are working on the premise that what is evil in the world is something hidden, secret, and kept under wraps by the government, in this current moment when we all know the government couldn’t even keep people from dying of a virus by wearing a simple mask, or breaking into the Capitol to try to kill the vice president.
What I do like here: these characters spend time in their hotel rooms, bedrooms, sitting around.
What I’m worried about: this white man wants to tell us that we are all in danger, but isn’t it white men who are always the ones behind the danger? Spoiler alert: it is.

And that’s what worries me.
